Good Morning Cuties! 

Last night I went to visit a friend who happens to work for Estee Lauder, so I decided to pick up a new eye liner brush. Along with that I got a beach bag with a matching make-up bag, and another travel make up bag with some perfume samples! 

Oh the joys of having a best friend in the business! I was so excited I decided to take a photo for you guys!

I also got Estee Lauder's lip conditioner, I just forgot to put it in the photo!

Weekend in a nutshell

Good morning my dears!

I hope you guys all had a good weekend! 

This weekend went by so quick! I shopped, got my nails done, went out with the girls, drank a little too much hehe. Overall it was good though! I will be kicking butt in the gym this week and for the following 13 days until I leave for Cancun!

I will post more photos later on for you ladies! I wore the leopard print skirt out on Saturday night, and it was a huge hit! Everyone thought I looked fabulous and edgy! (Paired with grey knee high boots, black v-cut tank, off white leather jacket, and the arrow head earrings in the photo above!)

Fabulous Friday!

Hello my loves! 

Well this week is coming to an end! The work part of it anyway!

Tonight includes dinner and shopping with my best friend Brittnee! Followed by some photo editing from last weeks shoot, and a nice cup of tea at home :)

Tomorrow will be much the same I'm sure, blogging and editing and relaxing at home.

Tomorrow night however I managed to snag VIP and a $100 bar tab, with reserved seating for my girls and I to go watch the UFC fights at a bar here in town. Girls night out, sounds great to begin with, and I definitely love getting the royal treatment! 

I will admit, I am a little nervous for bathing suit shopping tonight, I am not a huge fan of that! I may pick up a few little treats :) I'll be sure to post all of my shopping hehe

Waking up in Vegas....

Good Morning My Loves!

My post today is dedicated to Vegas! 

Last year my friend won a trip to Vegas from one of the bars here in Calgary.

The sweetheart Cassandra is, she asked me to go with her!

Funny thing is... They called the trip "A one night stand in Vegas"

So for a few weeks, people won these trips, and we all went in a big group! We didn't have to stay with the group at all, and for the most part we didn't but we ran into everyone inside the first nightclub where we had VIP Bottle Service! 

We had 35 hours total in Vegas, from when the flight landed to when we got back on.

This about sums up the trip for you guys.....

35 hours in Vegas, Bottle service, VIP in The Bank nightclub, PURE Nightclub, Meeting and partying with Pauly D, Serending Gondola rides, Shopping, Major Booze, Blackjack, Finding Doug, Laughing until we cry, Wedding Chapels, Ambulances, Almost getting kicked out of a club, I have NO idea how we managed to do it all!!

Funny thing is, the next day we found out that was the same elevator they filmed scene's of "The Hangover" in!

Well, there ya have it! my 35 hours in Vegas! We managed to do a ton while we there, it helped that I had been a few times before so I knew what Cassandra would want to see on her first visit to Sin City! Yes I caused some trouble, so this year we will see what happens in Cancun.....uh oh!

Last night I watched "The Vow" great movie! I love it, and I wish I could find an everlasting love like they shared. If you're in for a chick flick and possibly a tear jerker, you will love this one!

I had told a boy I like that I wanted to go see the movie, and I wanted him to take me haha! Well.... that didn't go as planned haha, he didn't want to and I ended up watching it online. All in all though I guess we both got what we wanted!

Since we're on the topic of boys.... how do you ladies feel about this one....

We went on a few dates 3 years ago, everything was fine but we got busy and lost touch. We ran into each other a month ago, and have been talking since then non stop. We haven't hung out yet though, this is the part I don't like. He's "taking things slow" but I don't quite understand how that works if you don't see each other....thoughts? 

This weekend, my friend and I are going bathing suit shopping for our trip to Cancun! I have to admit I am excited, but also terrified I am not a fan of bikinis haha even though I have worked very hard on my body for months now!

Happy Friday

Good Morning Ladies!

I hope you guys have made it through the week! I feel as though I am coming down with a cold, and this is NOT the time for that!

This is a busy weekend for me, I have a wedding tomorrow, and 2 meetings on Sunday with prospective clients! Hopefully all goes well, and they book :)

Tonight will be pretty tame for this rockstar, no parties or going out :(

I will be at home preparing all my camera gear for tomorrow and ensuring I have everything in order.

Maybe I'll do a post for you guys as well, I still have to share all my sample goodies from Estee Lauder and Clinique :)

Also; BIG NEWS! 

I've been asked to model again this year for the "Export A" show :)

For all of you that don't know what Export A is, its a cigarette brand in Canada . 

Each year they host an event for people in the night life industry (all the owners of nightclubs and bars and such) I modelled for them last year, and I have been requested by the president of Export A himself :)

I may have done some elbow rubbing last year when I met him.... hahah!

So that makes me one very excited girl, and also very busy!

I've managed to cram my schedule packed up until I leave for Cancun

Life is like photography; we use the negatives to develop

Those are my words to live by (also on the back of my business cards)

I've always had a knack for photos, I'm not too sure how it came about, but I have always loved them

I think photography is a way of life, with photos you can capture moments in time that you will never get back. 

It has a way of touching, feeling, and capturing moments long after people are gone, and long after the memories fade. It's a passion for me, and that's why I'd love to share it with you girls :)

All of the lights

Good Morning my loves!

I hope you ladies are having a fabulous week so far!

I don't have too much to report, this week has been pretty normal for me.

I do have some big news though I guess! 

I will be going to Cancun on March 10th! I am very excited to get away for a week and enjoy the sun and sand (and possible parties, and drunken nights haha)

Did I mention its spring break!! Oh the trouble I will get in hahah!

Did you guys know..... I'm a wedding photographer!

I have owned my own company for 4 years now, and I am one of the top photographers in my city!

I have never had a year like this one, I have booked so much! 

Not to mention my full time job, now weekends are looking pretty full as well!!

Tonight I won't be going to the gym :(

My cousin is leaving for Australia, so we are meeting up for a chat and some dinner.

I am excited to see her, and hear all about her previous trip!

How is the week going for you guys?

Life; It goes on

Everything happens for a reason. 

If this is so true, then I would absolutely die to figure out what the reasoning is behind this. 

I won't go into too much detail, or mention names for that matter.

I just feel betrayed, like you picked her over me. 

Your best friend, over someone that has hurt you in the past and will most certainly hurt you again. 

Why you place the blame on me, when you know it isn't my fault. 

Why you let her control your emotions and your actions, but still talk to me to reassure yourself. 

This is all a big news flash. 

I'm one to stand my own ground, say what I feel, and do what I feel is right. 

If cutting you out is what's best, that is what I will do. 

I won't let you bring me down with you. 

I will however be there. I will be there when she breaks your heart, like she has before. 

I will be there when you don't know where else to turn, or what else to do.

Until then, I won't be around.

I can't watch you do this to yourself, all I can do is wait for you to realize you're doing it. 

I will be there. That's what real friends are for. Even though right now, you aren't one.

Valentines!

Good Morning and Happy Valentines Day my lovelies!

I hope this day is exactly what you wanted it to be!

Whether you're in love or single, or you don't celebrate today, I hope its beautiful!

For me, today is just Tuesday haha! Work, working out, and the usual stuff, and that is just fine with me!

Although, I will admit I liked my mama's text to say Happy V Day this morning, since she's all the way in Vancouver this week <3 

If you're single, let me remind you that this is a Hallmark Holiday, Valentines day was never originated based on love or chocolates or heart shaped anything for that matter! So no need to be sad girlies!

I will also admit I look forward to reading all the Facebook status' today about how people are "Forever alone" or "this is the worst day ever" hahah, so over dramatic!

Good case of the "Monday's"

It's that time again! Monday morning!

We all love to hate this dreaded day of the week.

Not me though! 

Monday's mean a whole new start of the week, a new start to the work out week, and looking forward to new things to come!

In the last few months I have realized who my true friends really are, I cut quite a few people out, and I will never look back. I don't need people who bring me down, or swamp my life with their drama. Life has never been better :)

Today's schedule includes; work, working out, tanning, and then a short trip to the grocery store!

After this weekend, the events that incurred have made me realize something.

Remember; 

People only rain on your parade because they're jealous of your sun and tired of their shade xo

Ain't that what ya came for?

Wow. What a weekend, that's all i can say.

I spent a good portion of it with my mama, oh how i adore her <3 

We went for lunch yesterday, and then thrifting. Somehow I ended up with 2 books on make up, very interesting techniques! Love them!

Last night was a disaster though....

I won't go too far into detail about my life, but the short version is interesting haha!

If you have any guy friends (which most of mine are) you will understand what it's like when they get a new girlfriend (or an old one comes back for that matter)

Anyways, I guess according to her I shouldn't be around, and she's taking over. 

I asked her how her arms didn't fall off carrying so much BAGGAGE around all the time...

Alright, I didn't say that to her, hindsight is always 20/20 though right?

Some girls are crazy, I hope you ladies aren't like that!

Today was good though, I met my mama for breakfast and she got me a new vanity to do my make up at :) 

Yes, I will post pics! As soon as I have it all organized! It's very cute, antique, love love love it!

Back to to grind tomorrow, I'll be settling in with a tea and reading all your lovely blogs :)

Valentines Day;

Love is in the air! Well, for some people it is. For others its a day to sit around and glum about the single life.

I can proudly say, I am single and I love it!

I will not be enjoying a pity party this year, and I hope for you other single ladies you won't either! This Hallmark holiday is a celebration for lovers, that being said.... How many of these lovers actually know where Valentines Day originated? 

I can guess not many. Long before we were around, there were actually 2 Valentines that were honored on this day in history! No romantic elements were present in this day when it was originated. By the time St.Valentine was linked to romance, the story of the two martyrs (Valentine of Rome & Valentine of Terni) was long forgotten.

I won't go into huge detail about history haha, don't worry! If you are single and sad on Valentines day though, just remember its a "Hallmark Holiday" and it was never intended on being linked to love! 

On the other hand, if you are in a lovely relationship, why not take the day to celebrate your love! Might as well pick this one to embrace your love for one another!

Welcome to my world!

Thanks for coming to visit my blog! I know this is the first post, so I will use it to tell you a bit about myself :)

Usually I will post on here about fashion, music, working out, recipes, tons of stuff, but this entry is dedicated to letting you know about me!

Well for starters I work in the automotive industry (not a girlie job at all!) but I love it! I also own a photography company, and photograph a lot of weddings each year. Both jobs are passions and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Unless you know me well, you probably won't know that I LOVE football, the american kind! Superbowl is one of my favorite days of the year! I also love to ride my dirtbike, I go out camping and riding a lot in the summer!

I am an avid gym fan, I work out 6 days a week, eat very clean, and I always think about what I'm putting into my body. I haven't always been like this, but it was a lifestyle change I made and I have been very happy about it every since.

I have a slight obsession with skulls and cheetah print! I have no idea where it came from, but I love them both!

I travel a lot! I try and go on 3 vacations a year! So far I have been to every state (except Hawaii), every province east and west of Alberta (where I live) and Mexico (many times)

So this is me, this is my story! Not all glitz and glam, but I love it!
