Weekend Recap

Hello my loves!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I spent the majority of mine working as usual in wedding season. 

Friday night however I did manage to get some free time after work! A few friends and I went to see a comedy show, and it was hilarious! We enjoyed a few bevvies and laughed our butts off for a few hours before I went home. That's the only downside haha, I always have to be up early on Saturday's to prepare for the weddings.

Saturday I was at a wedding ALL day. It was one of my favorites this year though seeing as I knew the couple personally :) The bride and I worked together at an airline for a few years. 

Sunday was fairly tame, went for dinner at the parents to visit and of course spent hours editing the 750+ photos from the day before (I still have a LONG way to go with them!) 

I am terribly missing my boyfriend right now. I must admit 10 weeks apart is a long time, but it feels like even longer. We are almost 8 weeks into it now, 17 more sleeps until he comes home! I am so excited. Hopefully everything is the same when he comes back, a lot could change in 10 weeks. Our conversations have gotten less frequent, but he still "likes" all my status updates and stuff haha so I know he's thinking about me :)

Happy Eastaaaah

Good Morning my loves!

I hope you guys all had a great weekend, and I'm slightly jealous of those of you who have today off!

I got back from Victoria on Thursday night, and to my surprise I had a cute boy waiting for me in arrivals...

This was completely unexpected but cute none the less. 

Long story short: My cousins boyfriend, has been trying to set me up with his friend.... "Boy" and I have been texting for awhile now, and he was in town so he just showed up to the airport! We spent the evening laughing and drinking, and I have hopelessly fallen for his charming good looks. GRAND. Now I'm trying not to be the crazy 24/7 text queen, so far so good. Still not sure if another date is in my future, but let's cross our fingers just in case :)

On a lighter note, the rest of the weekend was sort of weird... hahah

This would include painting my truck (don't ask haha) lunch dates, drinking at 5pm, trying on random hats at a bar, and some "female entertainment" or strippers as I call them. Not too sure why I ended up at the strippers, but it did end up with me seeing a "friend" from highschool. When I say "friend" I really mean "Very popular girl that had more money than she knew what to do with, and I really didn't think she knew who I was" BUT she sure did on Saturday night when she was telling me I looked "hot" and hugging me as if I were her long lost sister. Random, I know. Still unsure of how I end up in these situations.

Sunday was great, I had a photo shoot with an engaged couple (pictures to follow) and they are very excited for me to do their wedding photos in August!

Weekend at a glance

Well my loves, it's been another great weekend, and we're off to a fresh start for the week! 

I hope you all enjoyed your time off and are ready for another 5 days of work filled bliss haha!

This is what I got up to this weekend;

Friday I worked until 5, then went straight to the nail salon to get my nails done! Has anyone else tried "Shellac"? It's an OPI thing. Basically it's non chip nail polish, it lasts weeks! I only go back when my nails have grown out, and it's time for a new set! The great thing about this stuff? Obviously it stays looking fab for weeks, and doesn't chip, but it also doesn't ruin your nails like fake ones do! After the nail salon, I hit the gym for a few hours, and tanned before I left! I love my gym and how it has tanning (and that they love me so much there that they let me tan for free!) By this time, it was after 9 so I chilled out at home and took it easy. 

Saturday I met my friend Brett for lunch. We indulged in some chocolate martini's and a nice gourmet lunch at a fancy restaurant, followed by a trip to My favorite ice cream shoppe (yes it's actually called that!) After that I went home with a nasty headache, took some advil and slept it off for an hour. It was then time for my mom's surprise 50th birthday party! I had planned this for weeks, I convinced my parents to head over for 6pm, and all of their friends arrived at 7, blaring car horns and yelling when they came in, my mom was completely surprised! Oh and not to mention she loved her new Tiffany's necklace :)

Sunday I took it easy, hit the gym and hung out at home, and then went to my parents for dinner! Nothing major!
